The three cyanotypes describe the first three concepts used to determine the circumference of the earth. The cylindrical objects in the carton relate to this and other histories and sets of data all concerned with imagining the earth including a timeline of the geological eons and the number PI. Their colour coding and the data relating to the gallery site itself is drawn from the geological map of the local area that completes the work.
